This time, we look back at the moments that sparked our collective joy and achievement through the ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฝ from myriad project activities and our City Practice Labs highlighted stories.
- ๐๐ป ๐๐ฒ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ - the project launched the website and social media channels
- ๐๐ป ๐ ๐ฎ๐ - Munich welcomed spring and the JUSTNature project team at the ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฟ๐๐-๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ท๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด. The event allowed participants to discuss how to shape our cities, making them more sustainable and livable for the community and investigating new systems that can conserve ecosystem benefits to people.
- ๐๐ป ๐๐๐ป๐ฒ - the JUSTNature team joined the New European Bauhaus 2022, In Malta, Research Innovation Unit started to share in-depth studies on the Urban Heat Island.
- ๐๐ป ๐๐๐น๐ - Munich held the Conference of City Makers โMunich plans the futureโ.
- ๐๐ป ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐๐ฒ๐บ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ - NetworkNature EU organised the Taskforces Cluster Meeting, gathered NBS project representatives and shared knowledge. In Malta, the Operation Earth Show organised by University of Malta sent a message about our values and missions to local audiences.
- ๐๐ป ๐ข๐ฐ๐๐ผ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ, we started the month by publishing the project video. Eurac Research presented JUSTNature at ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฑ๐ด๐๐ต ๐๐ฆ๐ข๐๐๐ฅ๐ฃ ๐ช๐ผ๐ฟ๐น๐ฑ ๐ฃ๐น๐ฎ๐ป๐ป๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ด๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐. The consortium met again at the ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ท๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ ๐ ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด in Chania. And Munich kicked off local collaboration with local partners at the last week of October.
- ๐๐ป ๐ก๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐บ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ, it was a very fruitful moment beginning with us sending out the ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฟ๐๐ ๐ป๐ฒ๐๐๐น๐ฒ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฟ; Crowdhelix organised ๐๐น๐๐๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ hosting 3 sister programs together (DivAirCityH2020 & UPSURGE project); Merano & Bolzano organised an open discussion on sustainability and presented the JustNature project idea to locals. Leuven marked to turn a grey and car-parked street into an international model street by 2025. And last but not least, University of Malta organised 3-week interactive Pop-up Parks events in Gzira, creating dialogues with local citizens.
Big applause to all our partners who make every month increasing of new activities and more people involved in the JUSTNature. We will also meet again in March in #Szombathely for the third Progress Meeting.
