On 17th November 2022, three EU projects for the LC-CLA-11-2020 joined the clustering event “Nature-based solutions for a just transition”, a highly productive online encounter organised by Crowdhelix, with more than 60 participants from consortium partners.
Representatives from 3 sister programs, JUSTNature, UPSURGE project, and DivAirCityH2020, introduced and reported the current implementation status of their projects. The event aimed to exchange knowledge and expertise, understand their work progress, and build synergies between the research teams. The session also included two presentations from program officials of the European Commission, the European Research Executive Agency, and Innovating Cities, who congratulated the initiative and explained future research funding opportunities that included not only European cities but also globally.
The next call will be launched in January 2023 and include 250 cities to connect universities and research teams with municipalities.
