The JUSTNature colleagues Tannya Pico (ISOCARP Institute) and Chiara Pellegrini (EURAC Research), took part in the ISOCARP World Planning Congress in Siena, Italy, this October 2024.
They both took part in the special session Nature-based Solutions for Urban Regeneration, where cases of Nature-based Solutions in diverse cities were presented. The session featured projects in Ecuador, India and Ireland, as well as the Bolzano case in Italy, presented by Pellegrini on behalf of the JUSTNature project.
The session provided an inspiring space for collective exchange and identification of common challenges in the implementation of nature-based solutions in very diverse urban contexts. The event, involving planning professionals from all corners of the world, was an exemplary scenario to further disseminate our project's mission and journey.
