From November 12th to 15th 2024, JUSTNature project partners met in Gzira, Malta, to attend to the sixth Joint Project Meeting and fourth Collaborative CiPeL Workshop. Together, representatives from six partners cities and other partner organisations spent three days of productive collaboration in the island, reviewing the project’s progress, sharing insights on the implementation process and collectively planning the way forward. The event was hosted by the regional partners Research Innovation Unit and University of Malta.
Some of the main focus points of the meeting were:
- the key achievements of the project, both in the past six months as well as through its three years of life
- the project's Entrepreneurial Activation Process, with upscaling and maintenance of NbS in mind
- planning of the upcoming Local Stakeholder Workshops at the CiPeLs
- engagement with the private sector at the local level
- preparation for the European Comission review meeting
