JUSTNature at Klimahouse x Bolzano

In February 2024, Sonja Gantioler (Eurac Research) introduced JUSTNature and its activities in Bolzano and Merano in a talk show setting to engage citizens, organised by the Klimahouse Fair. Related to the topic of ‘The‘Just City’, she introduced the according objectives of the project and shared insights on the concrete way ahead to engage stakeholders and citizens in not only co-designing but also co-governing their city, and the activation of nature-based solutions in particular. Loads of discussion on what the history of a city can teach us, how to balance that some voices are heard more loudly than others in shaping our cities, and the role of the public administrations in addressing the complexity of societal challenges.
