On September 29th 2025, the New European Bauhaus in Regions and Cities event took place in Brussels, bringing together over 400 practitioners, policymakers and public authorities.
Led by local project manager Ágnes Győrffy, JUSTNature and the work we've carried out in Szombathely were presented during the session Mainstreaming the New European Bauhaus in Cohesion Policy - Testimonials and reflections from the Ground. With testimonials from three different projects, including one from Spain, one from Slovenia, and JUSTNature's developments in Hungary, the session highlighted the New European Bauhaus' main values: Engagement, Sustainability and Aesthetics. In this sense, our interventions in Szombathely's pilot sites covered all three NEB pillars, even if the project wasn't originally part of the New European Bauhaus initiative.
