This September 2024, the 45th academic year at Dési Huber István Primary School started with a memorable event, celebrating the completion of the schoolyard transformation under the JUSTNature project.
Over the summer, new features like an educational trail, raised garden beds, and more trees and shrubs were added. The event was attended by Mayor András Nemény, District Director István Fodor, and Principal Flasch Péterné, who praised the collaborative efforts in transforming the yard into a sustainable, nature-oriented space.
After the speeches and school year opening ceremony, guests toured the upgraded schoolyard, marking a new chapter for the students and community.
