The Szombathely JUSTNature group promoted the latest project achievements in the yearly Historical Carnival on 25-27 August 2023.
Hundreds of local citizens and visitors – often while helping their small children play with a climate-related matchmaking game - received information about the project, the Szombathely development sites, and the chosen elements of the master plans. We explained the method of co-design and co-governance, and both were received with some surprise and appreciation at the same time.
The different quizzes for schoolchildren and adults helped spread some SDG-related knowledge, and many players kept the quiz for later use. Those who stopped to play, fill out a quiz, or just have a talk received a small pack of wildflower seeds to plant next spring.
