The "Guidelines for Green Space Design in Merano" were developed by the Municipality of Merano within the framework of the JUSTNature project, and aim to promote Nature-based Solutions (NbS) in urban planning. They address the role of urban and private green spaces, the ecological functionality of green areas, and the legal framework, including building regulations, green space plans, zoning plans, and historic preservation guidelines.
